Talk 1: Giles Lindsay (CTO & long-term Agilist and Enterprise Agile Coach) with "Who is an agile leader and what do they do?" Synopsis - This short talk discusses who in an organisation is an agile leader, what some of the traits and characteristics are that try to make agile leadership a success, and discusses the areas of influence that an agile leader has across that same organisation. As an Enterprise Agile Coach, Giles has experienced working with many agile leaders throughout his career, working in both small companies and large enterprises, uncovering and discovering the skills that makes them great for the role. & Talk 2: Tobias Mayer (wanderer, wonderer ) with "Scrum as Alchemy" Synopsis - According to the Oxford Dictionary, Alchemy is the medieval forerunner of chemistry, concerned with the transmutation of matter, in particular with attempts to convert base metals into gold or find a universal elixir. What does this have to do with Scrum? This brief talk will hopefully shed some light on the analogy, and explain why a scrum team is the elusive philosophers' stone.
